Aspiring Leaders Graduate Programme

Our Aspiring Leaders’ Graduate Programme is designed to offer young and talented graduates the opportunity to join Sanofi.

Are you an aspiring leader? Are you looking for an opportunity to develop your career in a flexible way, where you can explore different skills in a supportive environment? If yes, then this programme is for you.

As part of the graduate programme, you will gain experience in a broad range of business areas in which we operate. You will develop the skills you need for a successful career.

The programme consists of three rotations over a 40 month scheme in different business areas. Business areas and types of roles may include:

  • Scientific/Medical - Associate Scientific Advisor, Medical Science Liaison

  • Sales/Marketing (including Digital) - Account Executive, Associate Brand Manager, Associate Tender Manager

  • Business Operations & Support - Data Insights Analyst, Public Affairs Executive, Category and Shopper Executive, Digital & Multichannel Specialist, Business Intelligence Analyst

As you move through the rotations, roles may vary from the above, according to your interest and the business needs. We believe that providing a diverse range of on-the-job learning experiences, will equip you with the skills you need to achieve your long-term careers goals.

The leadership programme is an excellent way to gain experience and learn how a cross functional team within a pharma company works. It is a great environment to work in especially with how willing everyone is to support me on my development goals, helping me grow both personally and professionally.

A successful candidate will have

  • Education: Graduated in the past 2 years or graduating in 2023

  • Languages: English speaking fluency and writing

  • Record of a high level of performance and delivery

  • A passion for healthcare and being comfortable with stepping outside of their comfort zone

Career development  

The Aspiring Leaders Graduate Programme offers on the job training that supports graduates to develop quickly and prepare for senior roles, this is complimented with mentoring from senior leadership.

Health assistance and support  

Flu vaccination, cholesterol checking, physical and mental health education are offered to all employees.

Volunteering and fundraising  

Volunteering opportunities are available through different charities and/or internal projects. Mentoring offered to 13-to 16-year-old students from local schools.

The application process

    If you are successful at matching our initial criteria you will be asked to complete a video interview. Use the interview questions as an opportunity to show us who you are and why you are the right person to join Sanofi. What is it that makes you tick? Where have you ever gone above and beyond to make a difference? Make sure you think about your answers before you start to record.

    We will use this data including any information given on your CV to create a final shortlist of candidates. If you have not been successful you will be informed via email. Unfortunately, due to the large number of applications, we are unable to give personal feedback on your video interviews.

    The final stage of the process will be for you to attend an assessment centre. You will be given the opportunity to meet some of your potential colleagues and managers whilst also learning a little more about what we are about. The day will involve a group activity, case study and a face to face interview.
