Humanitarian Partnership

As a world leader in healthcare, Sanofi engages with public health challenges wherever they arise.

Sanofi works in partnership with the World Health Organization (WHO) to help meet healthcare needs in developing countries, particularly regarding neglected tropical diseases. As part of our collaboration with the WHO, we're developing an innovative programme for preventing and controlling malaria in Sub-Saharan Africa.

We also partner with several organisations supported by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, such as the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization (GAVI), the Medicines for Malaria Venture, and the Global Alliance for TB drug development.

As well as responding to humanitarian emergencies, we help to establish large scale vaccination programmes and develop healthcare infrastructure in the poorest countries to provide long-term support for children, health and education and to help eradicate the diseases that cause more than two million deaths a year.

We are committed to constantly adapting our development model in response to the world's human and economic problems.
