  • What are the minimum requirements for the programme?

    You will:

    • Have graduated in the past two years
    • Have a record of a high level of performance and delivery
    • Be a proven self-starter with determination to succeed
    • Have a  passion for healthcare

    With the exception of the scientific and medical stream, which requires a scientific degree, we welcome applications from any academic discipline.

  • What qualities are you looking for?

    We are looking for bright, ambitious people that have a passion for healthcare.

  • Where will I be based?

    This will depend on which role you are working in. We have three offices in the UK: Guildford, Maidenhead & Oxford and in July 2019 these three offices will merge into one new office in Reading. If your first rotation is in sales you will be field based.

  • How is the programme structured?

    The Sanofi Aspiring Leaders Graduate Programme consists of three one-year rotation streams. At the start of the programme, successful applicants will be offered a full time contract starting in the most suitable rotation stream. As you move through the programme you may stay in the same stream or switch paths according to your interest and the business needs. During the final rotation, the programme leaders will work with each graduate to find their ideal role.

  • What type of training and support will be available?

    As well as offering you a great start to your career in an attractive working environment with many opportunities, our aim is to equip each graduate with the skills needed to be successful. We use the 70/20/10 principle to help you develop. 70% valuable on the job work experience, 20% coaching and mentoring and 10% formal classroom training.

  • Will I be able to work abroad for one of my rotations?

    Sanofi has a very large international presence and there may be opportunities for an international rotation year. However, this is entirely based on business need and there is no guarantee that you will be able to work abroad.

  • What is the starting salary?

    The starting salary for the Sanofi Aspiring Leaders Graduate Programme is £28,000. The package also includes private medical insurance and a full range of flexible benefits.

  • What are flexible benefits?

    Flexible benefit allow employees to vary their pay and/or benefits package in order to satisfy their personal requirements. Each year you can adjust which additional benefits you would like. They include for example, Share Incentive Plan, Dental Insurance, Gym Membership, and Cycle to work scheme. You can also flex down on some core benefits to release extra cash.

  • What happens at the end of the programme?

    During the final rotation, the programme leaders will work with each graduate to find their ideal role within Sanofi.

  • Can I change streams at the end of a year?

    Yes, it is possible to move to another stream if it is part of your development pathway and this fits with the needs of the business.

  • What is recruitment process?

    Once you have officially applied to the position we will ask you to attend an interview. This will be sent online and you will be asked to record your answers using either a mobile, tablet or computer. If you pass this stage a member of our recruitment team will be in contact to complete a screening form. These are your opportunities to show us who you are and why you are the right person to join Sanofi. Make sure you have a think about your answers before you start to record.

    The final stage of the process will be for you to attend an assessment centre. You will be given the opportunity to meet some of your potential colleagues and managers whilst also learning a little more about what Sanofi is all about. The day will involve group activities and a face to face interview.

  • If I am successful when will I start working at Sanofi

    The Sanofi Aspiring Leaders Graduate Programme starts in September each year. However, for the launch of the programme we are also taking on additional roles in January 2019.

  • If I am unsuccessful can I apply again?

    Yes, so long as you meet the entry criteria. You can also apply for other role we have in Sanofi that are not part of The Sanofi Aspiring Leaders Graduate Programme, these roles are advertised at www.sanofi.co.uk/careers.
